Why Your Business Should Offer a Booking Link
Booking by phone costs both sides more time than it seems. Many customers would rather use a link.

Booking by phone feels personal, and for some customers it is. For a lot of others it stops them booking at all, because it becomes the call they'll make later and then forget.
Offering a link doesn't remove the phone. It removes the requirement to use it.
Who Actually Prefers a Link
Anyone who can't talk during your opening hours. Anyone booking at 11pm because that's when they remembered. Anyone who finds phone calls with strangers mildly stressful, which is a much larger group than most owners assume.
It also removes the back-and-forth entirely. Nobody has to ask 'how's Thursday' or 'can we move it', or leave voicemails back and forth. The customer sees what's free and picks a time.
Without Losing the Personal Touch
Keep the phone number prominent. The link is an extra way in, and plenty of customers still want to talk, especially for complex or urgent work.
Only show times you can actually keep. A booking link that leads to a call asking to reschedule is worse than no link, because it spends the customer's trust twice.
And confirm immediately, then remind before. The confirmation is what makes it feel real; the reminder is what stops the no-show. Both should happen without anyone doing anything.
